Encino Park is the perfect place to go if you’re looking for a relaxing and fun way to spend some time with your family or friends.
Located just west of Balboa and Ventura Blvd this quaint little park has a lot to offer from shaded picnic areas, playscapes, tennis courts and a surprisingly large basketball court.
Most importantly though, this is a great place to exercise, especially in the warmer weather. It also has a number of amenities that make it a nice place to hang out including BBQ’s and a pool.
The best part is that it’s free!
The other good thing about this small but sweet little park is that it’s a short walk to many of the popular shops and restaurants in Encino.
The Park’s other notable features include a large pond, a blacksmith shop and a natural spring. This park also has a large number of trees and shrubs, making it a pleasant respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown LA.
One of the most interesting aspects of this small but sweet little park is that it was designed as an urban oasis. It was built to be enjoyed and is a great example of how a city planner can incorporate the best of both worlds into an integrated community.
